The Swiss Teen Summit 2025: An unforgettable summer camp in Switzerland

This summer, the Swiss Teen Summit (STS) 2025 brought together ambitious young people from around the world for two weeks of discovery, challenge, and growth at the Les Roches campus in Crans-Montana, one of the most beautiful destinations in the Swiss Alps. Designed by the SILC Academy for teenagers aged 14 to 17, this premium Swiss summer camp blends outdoor adventure with leadership and entrepreneurship training, creating a unique environment where students push their limits, learn new skills, and build lifelong friendships.

Whether navigating a glacier, developing entrepreneur ideas, or collaborating with peers from across the globe, participants experienced an unforgettable summer that combined the thrill of the mountains with the tools to thrive in the 21st century.

Who we are: the philosophy behind the Swiss Teen Summit

At SILC Academy (Swiss International Leadership Camp and Academy), we understand that education doesn’t stop outside of the classroom. The Swiss Teen Summit was created as part of our mission to empower the next generation of leaders through experiences that merge learning with adventure.

Why this approach? Because the challenges students face in the real world like resilience, adaptability and teamwork are best developed in environments that demand courage and creativity. By combining hands-on leadership training with physical adventure, STS creates a space where students discover their potential, grow in confidence, and build the mindset of tomorrow’s leaders.

Adventure meets learning: leadership and entrepreneurship in the Alps

At the core of the Swiss Teen Summit is a carefully designed programme that balances outdoor adventure with leadership and entrepreneurship training. Every activity is intentionally crafted to teach resilience, communication, and innovation.

  • Glacier expeditions and mountain treks build endurance and teamwork.

  • Canyoning and via ferrata climbs allow students to push beyond their comfort zones in a safe and supportive environment, helping them to conquer their fears and build trust with their peers.

  • Interactive workshops explore entrepreneurship, creative problem-solving, and public speaking, developing a wide array of soft skills that will serve them in school, further education and throughout their adult lives.

  • Group projects encourage innovation, communication and leadership, with participants developing real solutions and pitching their ideas to their peers.

The result is a summer camp experience where adrenaline and intellectual growth go hand in hand.

The programme: what a day at STS looks like

Every day at STS is carefully balanced between physical adventure, intellectual challenge, and personal reflection.

  • Morning: After a healthy breakfast, students head outdoors for activities like hiking, glacier walks, or adventure sports. These physically demanding experiences are also opportunities to practice leadership and team spirit.

  • Afternoon: Workshops and project time focus on creativity, entrepreneurship, and practical leadership skills.

  • Evening: Group reflections, cultural exchange activities, and social events bring the day to a close, helping participants connect their experiences to their personal growth.

One of the highlights is the personal project, where each student designs and develops an initiative inspired by their passions. Some create entrepreneurial ideas, others focus on community or environmental solutions. By the end of camp, these projects are presented to peers and staff, a powerful moment of pride and inspiration.

Crans-Montana: the perfect setting for a Swiss summer camp

Location matters and there are few better places than Crans-Montana, in the heart of the Swiss Alps. Known for its breathtaking landscapes, year-round sunshine, and world-class hospitality, the beautiful campus of Les Roches provides the ideal backdrop for adventure and learning.

With modern facilities, comfortable accommodation, and inspiring views of the Alps, Les Roches provides a safe and premium environment for our participants. The combination of Swiss excellence in education and the natural beauty of the mountains ensures that every moment of the camp feels special.

Building a global community of young leaders

One of the most powerful aspects of the Swiss Teen Summit is its international community. Students come from different cultures, languages, and backgrounds, creating a rich environment of exchange and collaboration.

At camp, they learn how to work with people who think differently, how to communicate across borders, and how to build friendships that last long after the summer ends. For many participants, these global connections are among the most memorable parts of their STS experience and serve as valuable preparation for the diverse, international environments they will engage in and lead.

Why choose the Swiss Teen Summit?

There are many summer camps, but few combine the same level of adventure, leadership development, and international networking. Parents and students choose STS because:

  • Run in partnership between Switzerland’s leading camp provider - the SILC Academy - and one of the world’s most prestigious boarding schools - Les Roches - the Swiss Teen Summit is a premium summer camp with amazing facilities, highly trained staff and trainers, and adventure on our doorstep.

  • The camp’s focus on leadership and entrepreneurship alongside adventurous activities equips students with an array of soft skills that they will develop throughout their lives.

  • The Les Roches campus in Crans-Montana, nestled in the Swiss Alps, is the perfect location for a summer of adventure coupled with traditional Swiss Excellence.

  • Our international community of students from around the world creates lifelong friendships and brings many opportunities to discover fresh perspectives.

The future of STS

As the Swiss Teen Summit 2025 came to a close, the energy and enthusiasm of the participants makes it clear that this camp is more than just two weeks in the Alps, it is a launchpad for future leaders.

Our students left with new goals, stronger confidence, and a clearer sense of direction for their futures. The friendships, skills, and memories they built will shape their journeys for years to come.

We are already preparing for the next edition of the Swiss Teen Summit, which promises even more adventure, innovation, and unforgettable moments.

Discover SILC’s Other Camps

While the Swiss Teen Summit (STS) is one of our flagship programmes, it is only part of the SILC family of camps. Every summer, SILC runs a range of programmes across Switzerland and Europe, each one rooted in our philosophy of combining leadership, creativity, and adventure. Parents and students often discover that once they attend one camp, they want to return for another and we are proud to offer experiences that meet different passions, age groups, and goals.

Sea & Island Adventure Camp (Corsica, France)

For students drawn to the sea, the Sea & Island Adventure Camp in Corsica is a truly unique experience. Located on one of the Mediterranean’s most spectacular islands, this camp blends sailing, water sports, and island exploration with SILC’s leadership and teamwork approach.

Students learn practical skills, navigate the waters as a team, and explore Corsica’s natural environment through hikes, beach activities, and island expeditions. The camp builds resilience, adaptability, and problem-solving skills, with the ocean as both playground and classroom. For adventurous teens, it’s a summer like no other.

Gstaad Leadership Camp (Gstaad, Switzerland)

High in the Swiss Alps, the Gstaad Leadership Camp offers students a chance to test themselves in the mountains. Famous worldwide, Gstaad provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor challenges like high ropes courses, canyoning, alpine trekking, and cultural excursions.

Here, students practice outdoor leadership, guiding their peers through difficult tasks, building confidence, and learning to rely on teamwork in demanding environments. Gstaad combines thrilling adventure with SILC’s emphasis on reflection and growth, making it one of the most exciting options in our summer portfolio.

Creative Camp (Grasse, South of France)

Not every student seeks their spark in climbing mountains or sailing seas. For those with a passion for art, innovation, and creativity, SILC runs the Creative Camp in Grasse, a picturesque town in the South of France, near the home of the famous Festival de Cannes.

The Creative Camp provides a platform for teenagers to express themselves through arts, design, and storytelling while still engaging in SILC’s leadership philosophy. Students participate in workshops that explore visual arts, digital creativity, and even cultural projects inspired by the unique heritage of Grasse.

Beyond the studio, participants enjoy excursions along the French Riviera, discovering the region’s history and creativity while building friendships with peers from around the world. It’s the perfect camp for young people who want to grow as innovators and visionaries, combining culture with personal development.

The SILC Difference

No matter which camp they choose, students leave with:

  • Stronger confidence in themselves and their abilities.

  • Improved leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.

  • Friendships that stretch across the globe.

  • Memories of adventure and discovery that last a lifetime.

By offering different types of camps, SILC ensures that every teenager, whether an adventurer, a sailor, or a creative thinker, finds a place to grow, explore, and belong.
